Basically, its foundation was laid about 65 years ago by Tehsildar Shri Ganeshi Lal ji with a small school of 45 girls in Arya Samaj Mandir, Manni ka Bar, Swami Dayanand Marg. Later on freedom fighter Shri Chhotu Singh Arya, inspired by the ideology of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, took the responsibility upon his shoulders and worked with his colleagues and got it registered in 1956 as Arya Kanya Vidyalaya Samiti & started Arya Balika Sr. Secondary school at Swami Dayanand Marg. Discipline, cleanliness, good results, co-curricular activities & all round development of the students attracted the parents, so Senior Seconday schools were opened at different parts of Alwar- Lajpat Nagar, Malviya Nagar, Hasan Khan Mewati Nagar & Goleta- Ramgarh Road. Realising the need of the hour Samiti Started to open English Medium schools. The first english medium school was opened at Swami Dayanand Marg, the second school at Hasan Khan Mewati Nagar & the third english medium school at Malviya Nagar.It proposes to open the fourth school at Goleta- Ramgarh Road. We hope these English Medium schools will reach greater heights in glory, prestige and prove a mile stone in our progress who believe in simple living & high thinking.
The founder chairman freedom fighter Sh. Chhotu Singh Arya who devoted his life for this noble cause left this world on 23rd February 2007 and after his death Sh. Kailash Nath Bhargava, advocate took this responsibility on his shoulders and did his best efforts for this institution but unfortunately he passed away on 16th April 2011. After his sudden demise Sh. Jagdish Prasad Gupta Advocate took this challenging responsibility and it is a matter of great pleasure & good fortune for this institution that he too is devoted & working hard for the progress of this institution.

The foundation of this institution was laid in 1945 on the auspicious occasion of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ at Arya Samaj Mandir by Shri Ganeshi Lal Ji. At that time Alwar was a very small town. The state of girls’education was very poor. There were few school for girls. So to open a school for girls was a revolutionary idea which came from our great social reformer Swami Dayanand Saraswati who laid foundation of Arya Samaj in 1875 by emphasized the need of women education. So inspired by the ideology of Maharashi Dayanand Saraswati, Late Shri Chhotu Singh Arya attached himself with this institution and worked hard for the progress of this primary school. Soon it became a very popular school for the girls. Then it was shifted to Swami Dayanand Marg.

It is situated in the heart of the city opposite to Company garden & near Nagali Ka Chauraha (Ashok Circle) on the main road from station to Manni Ka Bar (Main Market). A big campus of about 12 acres attracts all the people. By now it has become a Senior Secondary School and a hostel for rural girls was started in 1969, a degree college was opened in 1980 so that a girl might take education from class Nursery to graduation.
Foundation of this degree college was laid by the former Prime Minister of Maurisus Shri Shiv Sagar Ramgulam, many great leaders of India were present to grace the occasion.
Thus a primary school reached upto degree college with a hostel. By now it has become a well known girls institution for good education. The campus having all the three storied buildings with two primary schools, one Senior Secondary school, one Degree college and a big Hostel where about 400 girls are residing. In 2008 for the first time an english medium school on C.B.S.E. pattern was opened here.

The increasing number of the girls inspired this Samiti to take a big land at Malviya Nagar from U.I.T. Alwar. After great efforts we could purchase 15000 sq. yds land at Malviya Nagar and a building for the B.Ed. college was constructed & it's foundation stone was laid by Ku. Shailja, state minister of India. Here a B.Ed. College was started in 1992 inaugurated by the then chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhavat and in 1994 a primary school was started which was raised upto Senior Secondary School and its building was inaugurated by Shri Atal Bihari Vajpai. In 2010 an english medium school on C.B.S.E. pattern was opened here.

The institution’s name & fame inspired Shri Baldev Raj Khanduja to donate his 500 square yards land with old building at Lajpat Nagar to the Samiti to open a new school. After demolishing the old building a new building for the school purpose was constructed & a primary school was opened. Now it has become a Senior Secondary School where girls are studying from Nursery to 12Th class with Arts & Commerce faculty.

Samiti deided to open a school at Hasan Khan Mewati Nagar. So 5 plots of 40’ x 90’ were purchased in Hasan Khan Mewati Nagar.A big building was built & a Senior Secondary School was opened from Nursery to 12Th class with Arts & Commerce faculty. An english medium school on C.B.S.E. pattern was opened here in 2009

Samiti decided to open a school at Goleta. A big building was built & a Senior Secondary School was opened from Nursery to 12Th class with Arts faculty. We propose to open an english medium school on CBSE pattern shortly here.

So realizing the need of the age Samiti decided to open english medium schools in the name of Arya Public School on C.B.S.E pattern. At present three english medium schools named “Arya Public School, Swami Dayanand Marg Alwar”, “Arya Public School, Hasan Khan Mewati Nagar Alwar” & “Arya Public School, Malviya Nagar Alwar” are running. In these English medium schools 779 students are studying from Nursery to VII class. We have got NOCs from Rajasthan govt. to get affiliation from C.B.S.E. & hope soon we will get the affiliation
